G. M. Changing to G. M. I. D. System

The Shop Committee has been informed that in the future General Motors
is going to launch a G. M. I. D. system, which will consist of a NEW Employee
Identification Number that will replace the current system of using your
Social Security Number. This WILL NOT CHANGE your badge number or
 your affect your Social Security Number.
The new I. D. number is designed to provide you privacy.
As more information is learned it will be shared with the membership.
Any further questions should be forwarded to the Shop Committee.
